Sensational pop punk and post hardcore bands Tonight Alive and Silverstein are bringing their signature sounds to the Marquee Theater!
Tonight Alive was formed in Sydney (New South Wales, Australia) in 2008 by Jake Hardy (guitar), Whakaio Taahi (guitar), Cameron Adler (bass), Matt Best (drums), and Jenna McDougall (vocals). Their musical style is best described as a blend of pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze), and emo pop (a genre that retains emo’s confessional lyrics and cathartic energy, while embracing more pop oriented influences to create sound that blends youthful angst with slick production and mainstream appeal). They’ve had a stellar career with 3 studio albums (2 of which were top 10 hits on the Australian charts), 3 extended plays, 13 singles, 13 music videos, and they've toured with 3OH!3, Lostprophets, The Wonder Years, Anberlin, Simple Plan, The Summer Set, Dashboard Confessional, Relient K, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and many other renowned bands.
Don’t miss your chance to see the spirited and female fronted Aussie outfit in the vein of Paramore and We are the In Crowd!
