Trevor Hall, South Carolina's sensational reggae, rock, and folk artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Marquee Theater!
Trevor Hall was born in Hilton Head Island (South Carolina) in 1986 and is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His musical style is best described as a blend of roots rock (a subgenre of rock music that takes inspiration from various American musical traditions such as country, blues, and folk), reggae (while sometimes used in a broad sense to refer to most types of popular Jamaican dance music, the term reggae more properly denotes a particular music style that was strongly influenced by traditional mento as well as American jazz and rhythm and blues, and evolved out of the earlier genres ska and rocksteady), adult alternative pop/rock (a branch of alternative rock - emerging after the genre's absorption into the mainstream – featuring a smooth, melodic, radio friendly style that packages alternative's mellower side for wider consumption), and folk. He's had a stellar career with 7 studio albums, 3 live albums, 2 extended plays, 3 singles, and he's toured with many renowned artists such as Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Matisyahu, Michael Franti, SOJA, Brett Dennen, and Colbie Callait. His music has also been featured on many compilation albums and on the soundtrack of Shrek the Third.
Don't miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to reggae, rock, and folk music!
