Vince Neil, California's sensational heavy metal artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Marquee Theater!
Vincent Neil Wharton was born in Hollywood in 1961 and is a vocalist, songwriter, and occasional actor. Over the years, his musical style has spanned many genres such as hard rock (a loosely defined sub genre of rock music featuring heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with pianos and keyboards), heavy metal (a sub genre of rock that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s and features a thick, massive sound, characterized by highly amplified distortion, extended guitar solos, emphatic beats, and overall loudness), and glam metal (a genre - also known as hair metal - that blends heavy metal and hard rock, adding blues and catchy pop influenced hooks and guitar riffs, while borrowing from the fashion of 1970s glam rock). He's best known as the former lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe and he's also had a stellar solo career with 3 studio albums (one of which was a top 15 hit on the US Billboard 200 chart), 1 live album, 7 singles, and he was a guest artist on country singer Justin Moore's 2014 single (Home Sweet Home). He's also appeared in a few films and TV shows.
